I have a dark blue cotton T-shirt that I brushed up against Tilex Mold and Mildew cleaner, and it bleached my shirt. The bleached part looked dusty at first (I was cleaning the house) until I looked at it closer and realized it was bleached. I didn't even think about the fact that Mold and Mildew cleaner had bleach in it!
Anyway, is there anything I can do to make the shirt presentable again? I thought of bleaching the entire shirt in the wash, to fade it all into one color, but I didn't want it to end up splotchy. Or is there something that can remove bleach stains?

The blue shirt has white lettering... If I dye the shirt back to blue, wouldn't that dye the lettering also?

How would the shirt look if you "marbled" it with some more? I'm thinking rather than cover it up, make it a pattern - then you'd have a totally unique shirt. This is called discharge dying and I do it on black cottons. Sometimes I just use bleach in a spray bottle, with a sort of stencil to create patterns. You never know what you are going to get, but right now the shirt is unwearable anyway right? You could avoid spraying over the lettering if you desired, to keep any harm from coming to that section. Just be sure to wear appropriate eye, skin, and face protection to keep safe.

that can't be fixed but have you seen the new t-shirts that have that look?
try searching the web to look at some t-shirts that look faded out and everything just work with it
to remove the stains nothing can be dome because all the color is out of the shirt on those spots it is down to the oriinal fabric...
but..
for it not to get splotchy you may need to put it in the clothes washer lowest water level add your bleach let it agitate then add the shirt that will mix it up for you good
too much bleach will eat it up and it will come out tattered..

Try washing your shirt with bleach, since there really isn't a way to put the color back. If that doesn't work, at least you'll know and can get a new shirt with a clear conscience.
Good luck!

you can remove bleach stains. you'll have to buy a new shirt. try to wear a white shirt or an old shirt the next time you clean because most cleaning products do have bleach even if it don't say with bleach.

Unfortunately, no, bleach is unremoveable. You're better off buying a new shirt, or buying dye and dying it a whole new color. You can try bleaching the whole thing too, make a tye dye shirt!

You can't remove bleach stains. The color is gone. Go to Wal-Mart or somewhere and get some Rit dye close to the original color. Use as directed.

get a blue permanent marker pen and write a cartoon caption in the white bleached part, how about "THINKS" or "I WONDER?"
This will then be an original (I claim 10% commission!)
