I had just put Neosporin, on a bite on my shoulder, before I put on a new shirt. The Neosporin soaked into the shirt, and I cannot get the spot out. I have tried Dawn, and Shout, with no success.

Any type of oily residue in clothes that you have a hard time getting out... this works best:

Spray the spot with WD-40
Blop some regular dish soap over the WD-40'd spot and RUB IT IN - COVER THE ENTIRE WD-40 SPOT (very important)
Launder as usual (launder immediately).

If this is a regular shirt - cold water wash will work fine. If the shirt is heavier material (like a sweatshirt), warm to hot water will be necessary.

It's hard to believe, but this method works GREAT!

UPDATE: I'm dying to know - did you try this? It will work - I promise.

I have found Dawn dish soap to work great on any type of greasy stain. Squirt a little on the stain give it a little scrub and launder as usual. Good Luck!!!

well, I would try the new tide stain stick and see what happens. Put the washer on delicates and then stop the washer in mid -cycle and let it soak... it has worked for me in the past

If nothing else works, try drying cleaning. Drycleaning will get all oil spots out.

Good Luck
