I know peanut butter works...but I have white t-shirts. Won't there be oil left from the peanut butter after the gum is out?
BTW- I tried freezing the clothes in the freezer. It didn't work. The brand of gum is Orbit...if that helps anyone.

depending on how much... if freezing doesn't work try heat.

Put a towel or paper towels over the spot. Heat up an iron - med - low to medium -- rub over towel. Blot as you go... this may get messy, but you might be able to pick up most of the gum. The towels will keep your iron clean, and can absorb the gum.. Change as necessary.

Put the garment in the freezer. Once the gum freezes you should be able to scrape it off easily.

I would use the peanut butter and scrape it off. Then use Shout pre-treater spray before you wash it to remove the peanut butter stain and oil.

Go ahead and use the peanut butter, then while it is still fresh pretreat with dish soap and wash in hot water. Any grease cutting brand of dish soap will do.

Try cracking the frozen gum off as much as possible,, then try some rubbing alcohol.. Then if that doesnt work take it to the cleaners and they can dry clean it..

Take some Charcoal lighter fluid and rub it in the gum. It takes it off immediately.
