Our condo board is considering allowing us to put in the walk, but one owner says it will add to our drainage (flooding) problems. Walk will replace portions of grass. (We're in Fla. where ground is quite permeable)Will the drainage be that much worse? Would like to show that the water will permeate the walk almost as well as the grass. Thanks.

I used sulfuric acid to clear my upstairs bathroom sink drain. The drain seems almost clear, but now I have water leaking in my kitchen downstairs from the celing. There is like a trap door in my celing and i'm assuming pipes are under it? It's a very slow leak, just dripping. I'm wondering do I need to call the plumber today, or should I watch and wait and see if it stops on it's own by tommrow? Thanks :-)

How often should i throw away my pillows and buy new ones? what about mattresses, toothbrushs, rugs (that are by the door and get wet etc), pillows used for decoration on the couch. Also, how often does everyone rearrange or buy new decorations for your family room for example. Thank you:)

Okay, i have just bought a used weight set and the owner just used a wire brush to clean the weights but it's still rusty. It's iron and it has orange rust on there. Is there any way i can get the rest of the rust off? Any off the counter products from wal-mart or etc... I've tried home lemon with baking soda but it takes to long and is not as effective. Is there also a way i can polish the weights as well? Please help and thank you in advance. I was thinking about WD-40 but doesn't that leave grease behind and make the weights slippery?

I live in WY, so we usually do not (or didn't until 3 years ago) have mild winters. When is the best time to plant a Venus Flytrap seed?
Second, would growing a Sarracenia (Pitcher Plant) be better for this climate?

How badly can the lead bends that toilets are seated on top of corrode? I had one that might have been about 35 years old, assuming that it was part of the original plumbing in this house.

The surface was partly white in color. Plumber said it had to be replaced.
