I would recommend that you not attempt any wiring. As stated by the first answerer, if you have to ask the question, than its above your capability. Work inside a breaker box must be done to code to insure nothing will cause a short that could lead to a fire. Working with the lugs hot means that you have 240 volts with approximately 200 amps of power, enough to kill you if you touch the wrong wire at the wrong time.

So please, have an electrican do the work for you.

Is this a troll? The bad spelling leaves me to believe so. But I'll bite anyway. As others have said, hire a licensed electrician. A new 100 amp service costs around $1100 installed, including all permits in our area. A 200 amp service isn't that much more, since most of the cost is labor and for anything other than a small apartment, that is the smallest I would recommend.

we had to put 3 -#6 cables from the box up to the goose neck on the pole, 2 black wires to the main lugs, one white wire to the ground leg, then clip your breakers in the box, the power co hooks up to the top,
