You could rent a room for that actually. Wouldn't be in good living condition though.

Depends on what city you live in. new york, no way. cali no way, but in Indianapolis you can get a flop room for that, and in suburbs of indy you can rent a small efficiency for 300 or so a month. Won't be like living at the Ritz but it will be a roof over your head.

if u can find an apartment for $300/month let me and the rest of the world know where u find it lol

the only way you could get housing that cheap is if ur on the community housing list, but those areas tend to be horrible

Had to do it. Depends on location and population. Rural, small towns are usually less expensive to live in than tourist-type, metropolitan-type cities.

In a horrendous neighborhood maybe. I've seen efficiencies in the worst part of town going for about that much, but you'd have to pay ME to live in them.
