branch of a full sized acacia tree overhangs my kitchen. If it were to fall on my roof, would my neighbours be responsible for the cost and repairs?

I recently aquired an old home which i plan to remodel and make my main home. But, In the guest section of the home about 1000 square feet, the old tenants left quite a mess. There is trash everywhere, cans, food, rotten milk, maggots, pet feces etc...literally 2 feet high.I can not even walk in it,I think it has been closed up for about a year and it is quite nasty. So my question is,How do i go about getting it cleaned up? I don't think a regular maid service will do as their are several pieces of heavy furniture that need to be disposed of as well,Is there someone who specializes in this sort of thing? And what might it cost?

HELP

Thanks

I am thinking about buying a home that was built in 1925. There has been a addition to the home and some updating to the plumbing and electric, ch/a. Overall the home is in good repair and has been well taken care of, there are some cracks in the walls, but the home is 80 years old, so a little settling has occured. I would just like any info as to help me make a decision wether or not to buy this old of a home?

I did the whole thing with track lights and grey carpeting, but everybody told me it was too gay. The waterbed didn't work out too well either. The whole back end of the trailer fell off the blocks and the front end is sticking way up. And its leaking now too.

Should I polish up the washers in the front yard. Women like washers.

I'd like to purchase a pool house cabana and insulated it and bring it to code and make it like a very small house. Do you think if done right, I would be able to get the permits? The property is zoned as residential but no one for miles has built anything so I will have no neighbors and their property values to worry about.

What type of thing will be intailed to get this done properly. I am guessing I will need the building plans of the cabana then a licensed contractor to certify his own modifications to the original building plans to brign it up to code, thenh submit it for the permits. Am I correct on this. The property is in Florida.

And yes, I am fine with a small house.

How do I get rid of mint in my lawn? At this point its taken over about 50% of my yard - it crept from my neighbors lawn.
Im trying to avoid straight up chemical fertilizers as I have kids that play on my lawn.

It's just a little YardMan push mower with a 5HP Briggs & Stratton, it's a little over a year old and has always ran great. The last time I used it it died on me. If I push the primer bulb it will start again until it burns out that fuel, then it dies. When it's cold it will fire right up and then stall after about 5 or 10 minutes, but then you have to wait awhile before it will run again. I JUST changed the spark plug and the air filter thinking that might be the problem but it made no difference. It has a full tank of fresh fuel so I'm not sure what to check next. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I want to insulate the floor of my ground floor flat. The only option I have at the moment is to put some boards on the ceiling in the basement underneath. The problem is that the floor is wooden (it is 100 old building). Does anyone know what materials I should use to get the best effect?

My husband is training for a marathon and I get to wash his exercise clothes. Occasionally when he runs there is a "foam" running down from his clothes - what causes this?
(I use Tide and Downy - I do not double rinse.)

I was looking up storage sheds and pool houses and got an idea. I have a property in a residential area. There is nothing built on it and most the other properties adjacent to it and in the area for blocks away are also not built.

I was thinking of purchasing a pool house type stucture. This is a link.

Now I am planning having it built, then add electric to it and drywall and finish it. Inside, it is most likely going to look like a one room house. I am going to build a small wall for a very small bathroom with shower room. I am not sure how I waqnt to do plumbing yet.

I contacted the county. This is an unincorporated area in Florida. I was told that it the struture was not permanently atached, it could not be taxed. So I may have it build on a trailer and they skirt it.

My toilet used to flush very well, but lately in order to make anything flush you have to hold the lever down. I put in a new toilet kit, but the problem still continues. Can anyone tell me what I need to replace or do to fix this matter. Thank You ahead of time.

Just wondering if it was cheaper to keep the heater on constantly or have the timer turn the heater on when programmed. Kinda like they say its cheaper to keep a house cool then to let it heat up and then cool it down.

My hot water pipes at places are laying right against the wood ceiling joists in my basement? I used the foam tube insulation and taped them. Can this cause a fire from too much heat?

I have 2 plumeria "sticks" cut from a large tree in Florida this past January. I put them in soil as soon as I got home and have kept them on the kitchen counter since. In April/May they both put out beautiful full-size leaves and one even put out a flower. Since then, the big leaves have fallen off and they have been attempting to put out more leaves but they never get past an inch or so in size, then they wither and fall off.

Suggestions please...I'd really like to keep these going.
