How do I get rid of mint in my lawn? At this point its taken over about 50% of my yard - it crept from my neighbors lawn.
Im trying to avoid straight up chemical fertilizers as I have kids that play on my lawn.

Pulling them up, roots and all is the only way to get rid of them without chemicals.
They are pretty shallow rooted so it is possible, but if you leave any root, it will grow back.
Good luck

the only way is to pull up roots and all. the one thing about mint, if you don't keep it contained, like in a pot or something, it'll spread like crazy.

try digging them up as you would with weeds or maybe mow them over with a lawn mower everytime they grow back.
