I got a small 3 gallon size papaya at Walmart today. It appears to have 3 small trees in the same pot, no more than 2 feet tall each.

I thought papayas were self fertile, but I guess not? What does "pollenated" mean? Does that I have both male and female trees in my pot? Or does that mean it is self fertile?

Also, at this size, how long do you think it will take to fruit?

Thanks. :)

I just finished spackling some peeled spots on a wall in my apartment and now I am prepping to paint it. I am going to paint it the exact same color as it was before, it just new coat. It is also a matte finish, the paint is not glossy or anything. Do I need to use a primer on it?

We just bought a house and want to start with the landscaping first. Eventually (maybe even this year) we'll get city water and then they take the septic tank out. Should we just wait? Or are there any plants/bushes we can put over it? Thanks!

I may be reaching here, but I thought maybe someone could help me with the name of this product. When I was very young, I used to visit my grandmother, and in her basement was a box of either clothes-detergent, rat-poisoning, or something with a woman on it, wearing a white sack over her head and carrying a broom over her shoulder as if she was chasing something (hence the reason i thought maybe it was rat poisoning). If anyone has ever seen a box similiar to this and could possibly remember the name, I 'd appreciate it.

Idea2:i use color theme of all shades of pink and paint my walls light pink and have bedding that's light pink and magenta and dark pink and have pink decorative things. Other details: i have a cherry wood desk, vanity, and drawers but there's white built-ins in the room. i need a head board/bed, bedding, and any decorative things, and a chair/chaise longe to go by my window. I have a queen matress. i want one thing in my room that's unique and cool like a mini fridge or a big aquarium on a shelf etc. either pick one of the above ideas and say why u picked it or give me a website with some cool ideas or your ideas. i'm worried that i'll grow out of a theme so i wanna make it last through my teen yrs. thanks in advance♥♥♥

My hubby and I have our queen-size bed on an angle in the corner of the room. So there's a big cavernous triangular space behind it. I want to do something dramatic in that space or on the walls to frame the bed, but don't have any good ideas! We have a small wood headboard on our bed already. Any ideas???

I just bought a ceiling fan that has 3 lights on it. Each requires a max of 50W. I bought 3 40W energy efficient bulbs for it but it looks dull. On the box it says "40W replacement-uses only 9W". I was told that when a lamp says the max wattage its going by the heat the bulb gives off. So does that mean I can buy say a 60W bulb for it? I'm just confused about it all.

My potted rose tree produced a lot of beautiful blossoms when I first got it in the begtinning of summer. After the blooms finished blossoming, I trimmed them down, thinking I'd get new growth, but there's no sign of new growth. It's been over a month now. Also, some of the leaves are turning yellow and brown. I water the tree at least every other day, so I don't think it's from lack of water. Help!!

I'm painting my bedroom and I want to paint it just a plain red. When all my walls are painted, I will get a white bedspread and white dresser and white shutters. I am going to get gold pillows because I think gold and red look really well together. Do you think red is going to make my room look disgusting and dark and dull? Advice needed please. Thank you in advance.

I just bought a 92" by 96" duvet cover (full/queen) and cannot find a corresponding down or alternative down comforter in the correct size! There appears to be no standardized size for comforters & duvet covers. Does anyone know where to find one with those particular dimensions?

Also - how can it be called a duvet cover if there is no such product as a duvet!? All there are are plain down or alternative comforters that you put inside, but why aren't there "duvets" if there are covers? That would be like pillow cases with no pillows! Ugh!

I'm replacing a thermostat on my water heater, and the replacement thermostat has 1, 2, 3 and 4 on it. The old thermostat had an extra 2 and an extra 4 at the bottom of it that the new one doesn't have. I need to know if I can plug the wire that ran to the 4 on the bottom of the old one, into the 4 on the top of the new one. I would assume that this will be ok, but I don't want to start a fire :o) Thanks in advance for the advice.

I have a 12 amp Eureka vacuum motor and I need a nut that will screw on to the motor shaft to hold the rotor in place. The problem is...I've tried about 50 different nuts that are all the right size, but not one of them will screw onto the motor shaft. The original nut got lost and I can't seem to find one to replace it. Why won't any of the nuts screw on? Is the shaft threaded backwards?

I have 3 fairly large gardens, no flowering plants, except for snow on the mountain plants. I live in a mobile home and I am buying a house just down the street. I have spent a lot of time and money on my plants and want to dig them up and take them with me. I thought I would prepare the soil at the new place, and then dig my plants up. Should I wait until the soil is wet. What will be the least stressfull time/conditions to move my plants?
