There's this stuff called Murphy's Oil Soap, that cleans all wood surfaces (I'm assuming your cupboards are wood though). Anyway, I swear by it. And it smells great too!

For normal grease, I use Formula 409 and a damp cloth or sponge. If the grease build-up is old or stubborn, go to the painting section of a hardware store or home store and buy either TSP or TSP substitute. This stuff is incredible, but you have to wear gloves... and don't drip it on any surfaces like wood.

Degreaser from Wal-Mart with very hot water. Hot water will help to dissolve the grease. Spray the degreaser on and wait 2-3 minutes, and then wipe down with 1/2 gallon of water with 1 tsp. of dishwashing liquid.

I would use a hot rag and some Simple Green, or some 409. you can use water softener the kind you add to the laundry and some dawn dish soap with a hot rag. Water softener will even get the grease off you stove fan.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

There are several other sites whose collection of plans have the dimensions totally wrong without any indication of parts lists, material lists or the tools needed. If you're one of those people who have bought plans like this in the past, TedsWoodworking will change your perception.

I use a product Passo. It needs to be used in a well venelated area & wear rubber gloves. Wipe it on w/ a soft cloth, it will take it off straight away.

I'd try one of orange-oil based cleaners, from Home Depot.
You can get it concentrated for diluted use in a spray bottle.
