I have a relatively small kitchen with a wine/grapes/ Tuscan theme that has some tans and subtle purples. My floor and countertops are a reddish brown Mexican tile. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What is the easiest way to trace and identify the tripped circuit? The outlet worked fine until I plugged in a second appliance, then it tripped. Or so I hope. Hopefully I won't need to hire a certified electrician to come and flip a switch.

We go to Florida for the winter and wonder what the problems might be with turning off the electric and water for the winter. We have lots of furniture in the house but wouldn't have any liquids. At times it gets below zero outside for a month or more.

MANY of my clients have expressed their disgust at the loss of trees or more often, one specific tree of which they had chosen their property purchase because of. I believe that trees should be counted a "real property" and treated as such! After all, most of us work hard and pay much to keep them healthy and looking good. What do you think?

I'm looking to do my exhaust, price quotes from shops are so high I could buy all mandrel bent SS pipes vs aluminiumized steel pipes they'd bend in house and get a $300 welder to do it myself and pay the same.

I've seen many recommend a MIG welder for thin material and things like exhaust jobs. But is it such a drastic difference between using a MIG welder for that work vs a wire fed one? I can get a wire fed welder from Lincoln for $350 but for $100 more I can get one ready for MIG out of the box. I'd really like to get the best bang for my buck but if I can get away with the cheaper one and not have the odds stacked against me by using stick vs MIG to weld the pipes that would be great.

So my question is should I just pay more and get the MIG because it is much more suited to this type of work, Stainless steel exhaust pipe welding or can I do as good a job with the wire fed welder?

Two models I'm looking at from Homedepot.com model#K2189-1 and model#K2190-1(mig ready)

I have a 2" hole in the side of my fiberglass tub. (My son slipped and his heel went through - but he's okay!) Is there any way I can repair this myself? I have no access to the underside and the hole is partially pushed in so I see the dark recess below. It looks similar to a car's bumper when it's been hit in the corner and cracked open with hairline cracks coming from the edges. I've called a couple of repairmen and the repair price is beginning at $300 (so that means its probably going to be much more.) Is there anyway I could do this myself?

I'm looking for something like a website, 800 number, or newsgroup. It has to be reliable competent information, like from professionals that know what they're doing. I need answers that can tell me how to do it myself.
For example a question would be, my garage sits in a low spot in the yard and when it rains it floods. The ground is high on all sides. What do I have to do to fix this?

My Peerless faucet is dripping and I was told it would be easier and cheaper to change the O rings instead of the faucet. So I need to know how to do that.

My non english speaking neighbors planted what we thought were tomato plants. The foliage looks like tomato, but the fruit or seeds are like green balloon pods. About 2 inches round. We have not opened one to find out what is inside. These plants have spread like wildfire. Any ideas? I would ask the neighbor, but can't seem to communicate.
