Hi, I recently founf a hole in my backyard, and this landscaper said it was a groundhog hole. Does anyone know an effective, cheap, and easy way to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

Have you found any other holes or evidence that it's in the area? It's not uncommon for a groundhog to dig a hole to hide from predators or as a preliminary den that it then decides isn't right. Look around and if you do see evidence of one in your backyard, the best and cheapest way to solve the problem is to borrow a dachshund or beagle for the day. It will do a little digging at the site, naturally, since it scents the groundhog, but the 'hog itself with flee the area and you can then fill in the hole (if the dog doesn't catch it--if he does, then it's goodbye groundhog unless you intervene).
