My Peerless faucet is dripping and I was told it would be easier and cheaper to change the O rings instead of the faucet. So I need to know how to do that.

First, turn off the water supply into the house. If not, you will be sprayed. Next, open the faucets to see that the water is off, and to relieve the pressure. There should be a cap on the top of the handle or knob that needs to be removed, so the screw can be taken out. Remove the screw, and pull the knob off. Use a wrench then to unscrew the large nut that holds down the mechanism for the actual valve. Remove this, and now the stem. You will find the o rings. Replace, and reverse procedure for re-assembly. There should be a diagram with the o rings for a better view.
