And is there any way to encourage more blooms? I've only had these in the ground for two years and they seem to be thriving, but instead of more bloom heads now, I'm seeing these pod-like things and have no clue what they are or what to do, if anything.
Thanks for any advice!

I've heard of hanging a plastic bag of water (or vinegar, or something...actually i don't know what's in it)...in a doorway or by windows to keep flies out. Do you know what that is, or have any other suggestions? I don't like "fly tape" or anything like that.
We like to sit on the back patio by the fire pit, but there are tons of flies.
Any ideas?

The pesky little critter has been relocated, fenced, and still manages to come back and eat my veggies. I'm sick of it.

I recently stripped this garage with a power washer. We moved this garage to our property this spring, but it has a history over the last 50 years of not holding paint real well and chipping and peeling off. It has wood siding. I am looking for a way to make the paint hold a little better, perhaps with a primer, a particular type of paint, or finish or by a particular technique. My knowledge of types of paints is limited. I know there are outdoor paints-but that's about it. I plan to paint the garage white. Thanks! Dimensions: approx. 18' x 16'

it's one of those pre-molded black plastic fish ponds that you can buy at Home Depot and it's developed a leak somewhere. So I need to empty it, clean it it, dry it, repair the crack or leak, and then let that set and dry, then refill it and put the fish back in. I don't want to use something that would be toxic to the fish.

I have the kind of windows that crank open, but on almost half of them the crank is breaking and won't shut the windows. It will open them, but shutting the windows involves pulling the screen off and manually pulling the window shut. Is there an easy fix for this, or a way to buy and install new cranks? My landlord won't replace the windows.

Thanks!

New shirt. Worn once. Didn't spill on it. Wash it. Now a stain on the chest and I am ticked off. What is causing it and how can I remove it? Is my washing machine bad? This is a bad way to start the friggin' day.

I am going to cut some limbs off, and I need to know what is the best thing to "seal" the ends of the limbs that I cut off.

I am not going to wait til winter time to cut the branches, because they are getting in the way of the house now, and I dont want any limb damage done to the roof, so, I must do this in August, when its really hot, and hopefully it wont hurt my Cherry Tree too much.

I need to know what to buy, and where to buy a sealer for the cut off limb.

Thanks for all who contribute.

I wish you well...

Jesse

I have an old 50 year old bedroom set handed down to me. Each night in bed I hear noise coming from the wood, like low brbrbrbrbrbrbrrr, eve hear of this? if I tap the place the noise is coming from it stops, then starts up again shortly. Can anyone out there offer me any help with this? I thought it might be termites? But found out they are silent.
