Get a squirrel-sized hav-a-hart trap. Bait it with nuts or acorns. You should catch one every day. When you do pick up the trap and slide it into a paper bag to calm the chipmunk in the dark. Put the trap in your car trunk and drive at least 3 miles away. Tip the trap over so the chipmunk escapes. Now repeat the process until they are not a nuisance any more.
