They like full sun water every day, add mulch will help keep the ground moist, get some Miracle Grow and read directions on what and how to fertilizes them, you will also need to get a net to place over them the animals love to eat them, this includes birds. Word to the wise they will take over the garden if you let them, they send out runners, so you might want to rethink placing them in the ground, you can place them in a container, large flower pot they will be easier to manged.

i have large bed of strawberries, plant your strawberry plant and water well, no food for it yet wait until it sends out roots, and starts looking health. the shoots that are growing, will have baby strawberry plants on them. once you have planted your plant take the shoots each one and just put a small part them in the ground so they can root and you will have more plants before the end of summer. keep them watered every couple of days if you are in a hot climate.i started off with 10 plants a few years ago and now my strawberry bed in 3ft wide and 6ft long. everyone enjoys them.
