What is the best paint to use? I am painting the interior, and all the rooms. I hear that Behr paint is good.. Is Ralph Lauren paint a good choice? Thanks!

I am so confused. I would like to know which type of mulch to buy for my flower garden? I have used what is in my yard to the best of my ability but will need something more. Cypress, Pine, Red Bark...Nuggets? What is best? I have never had to buy it before where I used to live. I am in NW AR if that helps also. Thank you for any advice.

I want flower seeds. Where is a place that offers quality seeds that aren't too expensive. Also i am hoping the website offers seeds that you don't usually find stores. Any suggestions?

I like dandelion greens in salad and would like to grow them this summer. How do you start them? I'd dig up the neighbor's plants and transplant them, but I'm concerned about pesticides.

I bought this town house a year ago. Last week my washer broke down. To fix this i had to move the laundry center. While moving it I just noticed that the dryer's vent is inside the house. Is this normal? No wonder while i did my laundry my house was all humid and hot. Is this a health risk. Also I have one year old too. How can i minimize the humidity and lint from flying all over? How much would it cost to take the vent outside of the house?

Can anyone suggest a relatively inexpensive place to find patio furniture? We are looking for something basic: dining table, umbrella, 4 chairs or so...we don't need anything fancy and don't want to spend a lot (a few hundred dollars, at most)

Thanks!

My roommate and I have a problem, our bathtub drains are somehow clogged, and so when we shower the bath fills up with water. It's hard to clean, and gross to withhold. Any suggestions on what products work best for this kind of problem?

I've heard that some air freshener sprays and plug ins that claim to eliminate odors actually use anesthetics to dull ability to smell rather than eliminate odors. I don't use sprays - they just don't seem to work. I'll stick with products that actually absorb and eliminate odors. Anyone else know anything about this?

I run an in-home learning center/daycare. I am in the process of redoing my backyard & around the swingset I want to make it more kid friendly & safe. Our landscaper has suggested kiddie kushion mulch. I have researched it but found nothing on whether it attracts insects (ants especially) or not. If anyone has information that can help me let me know! Thanks!

I have a beautiful blue flowering clematis - but I planted it in the wrong spot. I would like to move it against my house where I just dug up some lemon balm - which I am sorry I planted (it overtakes the area!).

Chicago climate - it's been 60 - 70's lately -but not the norm. Is this a good time - or wait till mid-April. We could still get snow here!

My question is - How do I make sure I don't have any residual
lemon balm - and what's the best way to transplat this healthy clematis. (it's been 3 years in the same spot - it's really full and I hate to kill it.) Thanks!

We HAD to get rid of the HUGE tree because it was an accident waiting to happen. We live in Northeast Florida and hurricanes are happening all the time. We have three of these big guys around our house and this was the one that would crush our home if it fell. So we cut it all the way down. We've shredded most of it, but now we're left with HUGE trunk pieces. Most of which are too heavy for just one person to pick up. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with all this wood that's just laying in my yard now ??? I don't want to have to pay the dump a few hundred dollars to take it... I've checked with local furniture shops and they're not interested. Also, we don't have any sawmills around here either...

So now I don't really know what to do... please help ! Thanks !!

I have a horrible time finding jeans that fit. I found a pair of LEI Sophia jeans that I loved. I tried them on and they were perfect. So, I picked up 2 more pairs of the same jeans, same style, same cut, same brand, just a different color. I took them home and washed them before wearing them. Now, after wearing them, I've found that one of the pairs of jeans is significantly BIGGER than the other 2 pairs and has a completely different cut. And one of the pairs is significantly longer, but fits the same otherwise. The tags inside all 3 pairs of jeans are exactly the same. I don't have the original tags off of the jeans or the receipt, so I can't take them back to Bonton where I bought them. How would you handle this? Try to take them back? Is there any way for me to shrink them in the washer/dryer? I couldn't find a link online to contact LEI to complain to the company directly. Any help is appreciated - I just want jeans that fit!

what flowers would be good for my yard? The garden would get a lot of sun during the day, and i live in a town right on the chesapeake bay. i tend to travel a lot, so it would need to be able to get by without watering for up to ten days, but when i am home, i am willing to tend it three to four time a week. any suggestions?
