either home depot or lowes sells a mold you just lay on the ground where you want them and fill it in with concrete and later put sand in the between spaces. I havnt done it but thought about it. it has various shapes and sizes within one mold which is about 2 feet by 2 feet. Made out of plastic.

Yes it is doible. but takes a long time to make enough for a walkway. I know i am doing that right now. I use 1 x2 boards cut to the correct pattern that u want. i make 6x6, 6x12 and 12 inch square ones . the finished stones will be 1 3/4 inches thick, and have had none of the break yet. It is a fun hobbie if u are not in a hurry to finish the project. I use quickcret cement by the bag. it is a lot cheaper than buying new ones. HAVE FUN

You can. Make the molds from melamine press-board, seal the edges with silicone. Mix your concrete in small batches it a 5 gal bucket. I don't know what your final use for them is but if you want to make stepping stones, or some special shape its fine, if you were planning on them for a patio, I wouldn't make them, it would take forever and the quality would be very iffy. It wouldn't be cost effective, pavers don't cost that much.

It's doable, but it would end up costing you just as much if not more. You would have to buy molds and materials. I'm not even sure where you would get the mold. Probably a statuary store. It would also take you twice as much time. I'd recomend to just buy them from the store. They come in so many varieties and colors. If you want to do them yourself it's as easy as mixing and pouring the concrete into the molds. Then you have to let them dry, and then make more.
