Does kiddie Kushion Mulch attract insects(ants, etc)?

I run an in-home learning center/daycare. I am in the process of redoing my backyard & around the swingset I want to make it more kid friendly & safe. Our landscaper has suggested kiddie kushion mulch. I have researched it but found nothing on whether it attracts insects (ants especially) or not. If anyone has information that can help me let me know! Thanks!

yes it does attract ants,but im not sure about other bugs.
i would suggest some (scotts turf building) wood chips,or their dirt.is actualy kills bugs,and is safe for the kids.
