I am wanting to install a wood stove into a house me and my wife have. The walls are concrete walls and I was wondering about burning wood in it. The wood stove is a cast iron free standing wood stove from www.harborfreighttools.com I have a free supply of wood pallets..that I could cut up and burn. Do you think there is any problem using that type of wood to burn. I would keep the the flue cleaned out. Where would I buy the stove pipe to install it at? Also what is the best and easiest way to cut a 6" hole thro a concrete block wall? and tips or suggestions? I am trying to keep our home warm on a budget..

I know I can wash it with hot water and then dry it in a dryer, but will be safe: it's a 100% cotton undershirt which I painted with paint pens. I want to make it smaller, but will that risk having the paint run?? If the paint runs, not only will I need a new dryer, I will lose a very personally important shirt, and I don't want to do that!

Please help if you can!

so I bought a set of those square shelves that you hang, and I put my houseplant on top of the shelf, well, the whole shelf fell this morning and the plant broke apart, I picked it up and put it back in it's dirt but found that the plant and roots are in tact still but there just not one big spring of plant but like 5. is there any thing I should do to help my plant out other than just placing it back in the soil????

i got this new looking beer fridge and it wont refridgerate properly.
i had it unplugged for a few hours, before plugging it in. i turned the temp to max and i could hear the compressor turn on. the next morning i went to check it out and it was room temperature.
all of the mechanical components (hoses, compressor, etc) look like they are in working condition. Could it be a timer?

My wife and I want to redo our bathroom countertop the current countertop is a one piece countertop that includes the sink and 5" backsplash. This is a condo unit that some manufacture custom built 200 of these to go in every unit. Anyway, we are going to drop bowl out of the countertop with a grinder and then we planned on putting mastic or thinset directly on the one piece ceramic counterop and then grouting the tile. Does anyone have any input on whether the mastic will stick to the ceramic??
Thanks,

If the dryer was grounded, and the breaker noticed a direct short to ground, it would trip almost immediately, right? So the question is that if it wasn't a direct 0 ohm short, but instead a human body, that would be like 1 million ohms to ground right? So would that body have to get like 30 amps through that body to trip the breaker on a non GFCI situation?
