How can precisely mix, for example, green and white interior wall paint to get a tone that I like? Is it just "try until you're satisfied" or is there some other way?

I don't want to hire anyone, I want to do it myself.

that has been coming from my laundry room for a while now. Could something not be draining right? Does that floor drain have to do with every day use or is it there incase the washing mashine over flowed or what? Thanks in advance.

Because of the Hostas and Junipers plants to the front of the house I am getting a lot of slugs and nails...which I don't like. I want to get rid of them the easiest way...such as spraying them with some kind of chemical that will kill them. Once I no longer have hostas and junipers I can reseed the yard and create a lawn which will make the space beautiful.

i purchased a gas generator during the Oct 13 storm that hit buffalo, NY. However, I need to burild a canopy, as recommended by OSHA and Red Cross so I can use it when it rains or snows. I have to have a five foot clearance all around and I will use it on my wooden back deck.

Everytime I come back from work my condominium has cooking smell. I keep my unit clean but I do not know how to seal the door or perhaps get another A/C filter to stop the odors from coming in. Any ideas ?

We are having an argument at work. Which way should you mount a 115 VAC grounded electrical outlet? Should you mount it in the wall with the ground on the top or the bottom?

I am an engineer and have done a fair amount of new wiring myself, I'm looking for help from professional. Is there a way to change from old two prong outlets to three prong (grounded) outlets? I'm trying to not rip out the walls and run new wiring. I've checked just grounding to the neutral (which I know is theoretically the same thing) and my tester reports bad ground. Unless someone knows an easier way I'll have to drill through the floor and connect to a copper water pipe. I'm trying to avoid this because were talking about 20 outlets or so.

Thanks

How much does mold/moisture-resistant or paperless drywall cost uninstalled? I am trying to decide what type to use and I want something mold-resistant with score of 10 on the ASTM D3273 test. I do not need installation cost. Also anyone had this type of drywall put in their home?

I have a small patio, with a concrete floor and planting area on 3 sides around the concrete (the other side is for our sliding door to go out). We don't have much but a few potted plants and a bbq grill. We will be selling our place so now I need to get the patio up to par with the rest of the property.

What kind of plants should I put in & furniture? It needs to look nice but also be done on a budget of less than $200.

Thank you!!!

I'm thinking of getting one but it's pricey for a bean bag if it makes a poor bed or isn't very usable.
