..... We could buy a little house in the countryside, keep some chickens and a goat, smoke pot, listen to the cure, paint our house purple, and live forever in blissfull weirdness....

I have rust stains in bath tub and I can't get rid of them. I tried lime away which claims to get rid of rust stains, but it didn't work at all. I need some suggestions. Thanks a bunch.

Home is in Tamworth and is about 3 yrs old. 4 bedrooms, lounge. dining room, family room, ensuite and walk in robe. I have a huge double door fridge and am worried that it wont fit in the fridge cavity in the kitchen. I am wondering what the trend is with standard homes these days as to what the dimensions are for the fridge cavity areas.

Considering using a large floor cloth to cover my wall-to-wall carpeting that I hate. I just want to drape it over the existing wall-to-wall. Where would you get floor cloth & exactly what is it made out of? I know you can paint it if you want to. Where would I buy this item. Can you get a piece of floor cloth 11 x 15 feet? Any information is appreciated.

I have been saving my hard earned dollars and scrimping pennies so that I can build my dream home.
I grew up fairly poor (like upper lower class, way in debt, needin' loans every month to pay bills, broke as a biatch, just barely getting by with food in our bellies and hand-me-downs on our backs) so I've always dreamed of having one of those luxury homes that feels like a hotel when family visits and my kids are proud to have friends over in.
Well, even though I'm not quite there yet, I'm on my way! And part of being halfway there is knowing what house I actually want. I've been going through all these floorplans and every time, I see a room labled "keeping room" and it is always directly connected to the kitchen.
Is it kinda like one of those little spaces to put the kitchen table and have informal lunches and dinners in? Or is it something else, like a minibar or something, since it is also right there near the dining room?
Help! I don't want to pay for space I won't use!

I gave away all my good furniture that I had from my parents to my children. I now have old cast off furiture from other people. The advantage is it would be very easy to replace if I had a fire or other problem. Clearing my house will be easy when I die as nothing of value can go directly in the skip. Not having expensive things also means a burgerlar would not take the trouble to break in.

I work for a woodworking company and in the office, there are a bunch of nets or fruit flies. There is no fruit. No water left around. They're driving me crazy. What can I do?

I assume that the rotation of the windmill causes some action in the metal tube that makes noise below ground to ward off moles. Can I hear the noise and is it going to be a noisy nuscience?

My husband is in his early 40’s, educated and successful. However, lately he has been forgetting to turn off the stove, oven and toaster oven, etc when he’s finished using them. We don’t have children, but we do have pets and I worry one day he will leave something on and start a house fire. He asked me to help him remember to turn these appliances off, but what if I am not home? How do I help him remember these things??

We are renting a nice home and the dishwasher is about ready to retire. It is not cleaning anymore, water spots are nasty, it doesn't rinse anything off, I have to do that myself when I unload the dishwasher. Also the bottom, in the back, where the water is supposed to drain. . .it doesn't. It sits there for days.
The thing wiggles and wobbles, makes groaning noises, and frankly I am a little scared of it. I know it is not my responsibility. However I feel like a shmuck calling my landlady and basically telling her, "Hi Mrs. Smith, I need you to spend another $300 this week to replace this item, even though your husband's brother's wife's mother's neighbor's dog just died." See what I mean? Am I being silly? Should I not be so caring and just call her already? Any advice on to how to tell her would be great.
Thanks so much and God Bless everyone this morning.
