There is a little hole in the channel that the water is supposed to drip through and evaporate away.It needs clearing out.Unplug the fridge and I use a plastic knitting needle to poke it out. Don't forget to plug it back in again when you've finished.

The drain tube on the back is plugged, just pull down and run hot water in the tube. Inside the fridge, under the freezer bottom, is a small plastic fixture, held by two screws, this unit will be plugged as well and is a easy fix for a common problem. Good luck.

At the bottom of the channel is a small drain hole which passes out the back of the cabinet and drains defrost water through a small tube onto the top of the hot compressor , where it evaporates. Your tube is blocked with food particles, you need to unblock it and pour some warm water into the channel to clear it out, then all will be well till it happens again!

The channel at the back leads the water to a small drainage hole where the water would normally run out of the fridge. This hole in time gets blocked with muck.
Poke an opened out paper clip into the hole and wriggle it about. This should cure your problem.

at the back of the channel there should be a drain that a hose is attached that runs out to the back of the frig down to the bottom into a pan under the frig. if the drain or hose is plugged up then unplug and that should solve your problem. also dont forget to empty the pan once in a while or you will get water on the floor.

down the back of your fridge on the inside, there will be a small
ridge across the back, in the middle of that there should be a small hole, this is probably blocked, you need to find something that will go in that hole to unblock it, then you should not have any more problems

This water is supposed to drain out of a hole into a container ontop of the compresser at the back.
You need to defrost the whole unit and unblock the hole
