I am schedule to do a community talk regarding interior design the end of Sept. I have decided to talk about the accessories of the home, but have discovered it is a broad topic and I only have 45 min - hour.

Some of the outlines I have so far are:

Table top accessories: Centerpieces, accent tables, mantles, coffee tables, etc.

Drapery, Pillows, Bedding
Lighting
Kitchens - Cabinet tops, backsplashes
Rugs/ Flooring
Art/Sculpture
Bookcases
Entertainment Areas
Bathroom Accessories

Feel free to throw out your favorites or add what is missing.

I think contact paper would be too much work to remove when moving out. Are there some kind of magnetic removable panels? Any other suggestions? Thanks !!

Sorry this doesn't really belong in this section but there isn't a catergory provided that it really fits in. Does electric companies and gas companies allow you to pay out the deposit???? or make monthly payments untill you pay it in full??

Picture This:
1. The city I guess would be shaped as Laguna Beach (as in the way the Cliff and ocean is)
2. There is a beach, but nobody goes to it.
3. At daytime, the sun looks like it just came out after a storm.
4. It never gets hotter than 70 degrees Farenhite
5. All the homes are widley spread out, and the homes are ultra, ultra, ultra, modern
6. You will never be able to see someone else's home because of so many many trees around, and becasue they are spread out so much.

I've heard that many egg trays attached to plywood is good. I'd attach them in several layers to both sides of the plywood. My application would be for an apartment door, to protect against loud hallway noise. Any other ideas?!
