glasses wrap tissue paper round the stem till they are like a tube and fill the bowl with the same then wrap in bubble wrap and pack into a box adding bubble wrap as you go to ensure they won't move
plates wrap each plate in the same and pack into a box as with the glasses
use boxes that will hold each item and do the same mark each box

bubble wrap is the best. Dont spend money on it, go to your local supermarket - they throw away tons of the stuff.

Bubble wrap each item, put a layer of scrunched up newspaper ina box, lay in your bubble wrapped items, and pack more scrunched up paper around them. This will prevent things from moving around, and they should be safe.

Buy large bubble wrap and packing peanuts on Ebay - the stuff in Staples and Office Depot is way too expensive.

Use smaller boxes so the weight isnt too heavy, bubble wrap each piece individually, then when the first layer of items is in box cover layer with newspaper then start again, build up in layers.

The trick is to fit everything in snuggly so each item is "strengthened" by the others.
