Sorry this doesn't really belong in this section but there isn't a catergory provided that it really fits in. Does electric companies and gas companies allow you to pay out the deposit???? or make monthly payments untill you pay it in full??

Well thanks everyone for answering my question but I just talked to the gas and electric company and my deposit is waivered since my husband is in the military! So now I don't have to worry about the deposits!

They do in Texas, Not in Southern Cal, It's going to be up the the company. I'm sure if you ask real nice, Most will let you.

I got my deposit back after pay my bill for year.

Usually, in my area they split it over a three month period.
