I just ripped out my old ceiling fan and replaced with a new one, with one slight problem. There's a gap between the ceiling and the fan, it is not flush against the ceiling. As a result there is a small amount of wobble to the fan, not caused by the fan blades!

The gap is less than a quarter inch, but still noticeable and there's the wobbling issue. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hardwood floors, 4 windows. walls are newlypainted a burnt orange [.not bright but deeper, very rich looking ]with soft peach trim. 2 inlade cabinets on each side of entryway wall into kitchen. The cabinets are newly painted and filled with sentimental dishes and precious moments. I know its hard without knowing my style, but I don't even know my style. I am new at this and drawing blanks. Anything? Even helpful websites. Not much as far as funds to make it really fancy. I just feel like it needs something .

I have checked with people around me and they are only getting a $75.00 bill. We are using over 3300 kwh of electricity for one month! Air conditioner is on 75 during the day and 74 during the evening. Water heater is set to 140 degrees but not heating our water. All our appliances are very energy efficient. Electric company checked the meter and confirmed working with no problems. PLEASE HELP!!!

A visitor placed a glass on my granddaughters dressing table and it acquired a water ring. I don't know how to repair it and this was a gift from her great grandmother with the promise of the rest of the bedroom set if she takes good care of it. She did not know that her friend had done this and there were coasters available to her guest.

Sometimes my toilet won't flush all the way. Sometimes it does. Once in awhile, in morning the toilet is bone dry. The bowl will fill with water, begin the swirling motion, then kind of fizzle out and it all of the water won't go down.

why does it seem that there are gophers? or Moles? in my yard?
I end up with piles of dirt every day almost now! I have to shovel the dirt away, and now it's in so many places it's not looking good.
On the grass it happens, as well as In the gardens too.
How can I stop this from happening?? anyone have some ideas?
