Our Texas soil is clay. We are told that we should have a soaker hose along our foundation in dry summer months so that the soil under the foundation will stay moist otherwise, we take the risk of our foundation cracking. I have heard different amounts of time that the water should be soaking in. I also heard that too much will also cause damage. I wanted to know if any one knew the proper amount.

I brought home a kitten for my son and before I knew it my house was infested with fleas. I've since bombed twice, washed everything possible, and even bought a flea spray, and spray down my carpets almost every day. I tried getting rid of the fleas on my cat but nothing seemed to work so we gave her back to her flea infested family. AND The fleas are still here! I can't get rid of them, and My son is now covered in flea bites which doesn't seem to bother him but breaks my heart to look at his little legs. I need Help! Any other ideas on how to get rid of these nasty things?

We just moved into a house where the people living there were living a sort of bad lifestyle and there are a lot of bad memories there (we used to live there before the most recent person). How can I change the uncomfortable negative energy I'm feeling there, so I can feel at home?

We have a stackable frigidaire electrolux dryer, it has a very loud buzzer that rings before the dry cycle is finished and I'd like to disconnect it. Its so loud I practically jump out of my skin when it goes off and there's no way we could put a load in to dry and go to sleep with that thing going off.

The house is a quad level with the fireplace on level 2. Our heat bills are high so I need to do something. I could either put in the pellet stove insert in the fireplace or put a pellet stove in the basement and try to attach it to my hot water heat system. Is it possible to put the pellet stove in the garage? I just don't know anything about this stuff. What about the cost - should I be able to stay under 3000$? Could this thing heat my water heater?
