why does it seem that there are gophers? or Moles? in my yard?
I end up with piles of dirt every day almost now! I have to shovel the dirt away, and now it's in so many places it's not looking good.
On the grass it happens, as well as In the gardens too.
How can I stop this from happening?? anyone have some ideas?

I have just experienced the same problem in my yard.
It is not easy to do away with.
I have used gopher "bombs" to no avail. I have tried flushing them out with the garden hose. This worked once. I have used a gopher trap, it worked but was incredibly cruel to the animal that had to stay alive with its back crushed until I got around to checking the trap. Poison bait works for me. I don't have to see the animal die and it very effective if you can find the hole and place the bait within it.

You probably do. I have gophers and have tried poisons and gum without success. I'm going to try the advice from Garden Dok. He answered a question by scubadiver50704 about 4 weeks ago.

We're battling it too. We bought grub killer, because if you don't have grubs , ya shouldn't have moles. But it didn't work. I have heard of putting gum down the holes because they can't digest it and it kills them.Juicy fruit as a matter of fact. Spearmint too.... but I don't know how much truth there is to that. Good luck let me know if you succeed.

Taffscott1 would rather kill it than make it uncomfortable, but I think useing trap is better. If the traps don't work, and you kept your recipt.
you might get your money back.
