I'm guessing that you don't intend to fire up a charcoal or propane grill on your kitchen counter. I assume that you are looking for some kind of small electric grill/griddle. These are available anywhere that small kitchen appliances are sold.
If you can wait, Amazon.com sells a wide range of models at reasonable prices. Shipping costs depend on how quickly you want the item, but if it is over $25.00, shipping should be free.
Good luck with your BBQ.

hi
i would go to somewhere like walmart and get something like a george forman or the generic equivilent. if you get something that doesn't have a lid, the burgers/chicken/steaks may splatter and make a mess. not to menition, that with a george f, the cooking surface is on both sides and takes much less time than a conventionsal grill that will grill just one side at a time. since you are having a bbq, i would also assume you will be having quite a few people over, so don't buy a grill that will only fit two burgers on. try to buy a larger grill. also, since you will be doing all the cooking and serving, it would be a good idea to prepare all the things BEFORE you go to bed so it doesn't have to be done in the morning. i would pat all burgers, get the mustard, ketchup, cheese, macaroni/potato salads, chips, etc. all ready for tomorrow. i would also buy chinet or some other strong plate and plastic utensils and napkins so you can just throw things away instead of having a sink full of dishes. another wise thing to do may be to eat something half hour or so before everyone arrives so you won't be famished while cooking for the guests since you will be busy attending to everyone BUT you. also make sure in the bathroom there is ample toilet paper and paper towels (linen towels for the group to use isn't sanitary). also have a plunger near buy. i hope you have a great time.

I'd try looking into a kitchen specialty store, and then mayby a place like Lowe's. But remember, you want an electric or gas grill (preferably electric for the kitchen) and not a charcoal grill or the gas grills with the lava rocks. You don't want anything that's going to be prone to flare-ups inside the house or apartment.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
Besides the obvious fire hazard, carbon monoxide poisoning is a major concern.
