I am a housewife and a babysitter. I take care of all the laundry, and cleaning, and cooking, and the kids. And anything else that needs to be taken care of inside the house. My husband goes to work......he drives 2 hours each way, and works 8 hours. He doesn't have to anything when he gets home. It would be nice if he would mow our lawn though. He thinks it is my job, since I am a housewife and that is "what I chose to do". I say it's outside of the house and that makes it his job.

In your opinion......whose job is it??

I recently moved to Central Florida near the beach. A week or two ago, I found a caterpillar in one corner of my house. Next to it was a brownish stain on the floor. I cleaned it up and today, in the same spot, was another caterpillar thing and brown stain. Is this normal for this area and how do I prevent it? I have the house sprayed every month.

I’ve just moved into a new home and I have noticed a wet patch of grass about 10 sq ft big that never seems to dry out, and one corner of this area touches my property. I recently had a painter in and he noticed there was a little dampness inside the house in that corner.

Outside that corner of the house is a sprinkler pipe and then the area of wet land. I obviously have something wrong that needs to be addressed but who do I call. A plumber because it’s probably water pipe related or a landscaper the person that would normally install a sprinkler system?

In the apartments that I live in the landlord is using some independants to clean the pool. The pool seems to be unclean or cloudy, but they say its clean. Does anybody have any input!

Besides just drying it? I'd like to make it to where it doesnt just crumble. I've thought about maybe brushing a layer of glue over the top of it. Any ideas??

What period of time needs to elapse to make shutting the AC off more efficient than letting it run? I live in a very hot and humid tropical climate.

Can you recommend a formula to calculate this or maybe a site online that might have a calculator?
