My boyfriend of 3 years, who currently lives out of state, is going to be moving to be closer to me. I currently live in an apartment which is in my name only. Are there any rules I would be violating by letting him move in with me in my apartment? He wouldn't be able to afford moving here otherwise. Should I contact the apartment managers to ask so he can sign onto the lease? I'm afraid they will say he can't but the wheels are already in motion for him to move here and he would probably have to now even if they say no. I'm not sure what the rules are regarding this or what normal procedures would be.

My lease isn't up for 5 months. I live in TN.

I need it done, but don't have the outrageous money an electrical contractor would want. Don't want to ZZZZZAP myself either.

I have two flourescent light fixtures in my kitchen. I changed the bulbs in one last summer but it still flickers (or doesn't come on at all). Now the other fixture is flickering like a strobe light. How do I know if I need to change the bulbs or change the ballast?

10 weeks ago i started getting bitten, i thought mosq so tried to stop them but didn't work, someone in work said it could be fleas so i've fogged the room 5 times used spray and stuff from the pet shop and spray from the vets but no joy, yesterday the council came out he didn't think it was fleas but sprayed anyway and checked the bed for bed bugs - non there. when i'm on nights i can go 4 days in bed without getting bitten then i'll get bitten the next day obviously because they are hungry, my boyfriend never gets bitten but i understand this can be normal. today i saw something it was a small about 2mm round bug and when i grabbed it with a tissue it burst to leave blood all over the tissue (obviously mine) it didn't jump or fly so what can it be, please help i'm in so much discomfort with the bites which are mainly on my arms and back but on my face and a couple on my legs. please help me!

I have several large pine trees in our front yard with about 7 years worth of pine needles underneath. I have read conflicting information regarding leaving the needles...as natural mulch and evidently a desireable trend...versus raking out the area. I'm leaning toward removal...and placing a red shredded bark mulch over the same area - my own personal preference, not to mention the needles are very dry and brittle in the summer heat - but am concerned I may cause undue harm. The current needle layer appears to be about 5 inches thick with needles on top and a fine black sandy soil beneath. (Is this good?) We also see a lot of spiders and other bugs. Is it advisable to clear it out? Is the red shredded tree bark a good replacement? Any help is appreciated. We are new to lawn & tree care! Thank you!

Ok i get the whole 'they're cut 2x4 but shrink during the pressure treatment', but why wouldn't they just be cut 2.5x4.5 so they shrink to 2x4? wouldn't that make more sense?

we have a "lady lamp" the figurine of a grecian style lady sits inside a wire cage but the wire is twine and when the lamp heats the oil up it pumps the oil to the top chamber thro' columns of the lamp and the oil then drizzels down the twine (ropes) so it looks like its raining.

Where would one purchase the right type of oil from? I have tried 3 in 1 but it didnt work

The cord string that extends and retracts the blinds came detached. I am only able to retract the blinds, but not extend it with the string unless I pull on the blinds manually. The rotation of the blinds work.

I recently bought my first home. It is a two story townhouse. I have never lived in a two-story home before and am a first time homeowner. The problem is that the heating and air conditiong work fine downstairs, but very little of it gets upstairs. The result is comfortable downstairs, very hot upstairs. I tried closing the vents downstairs to force the air up, but it really doesn't help that much at all. I have started sleeping on the living room sofa because it is so hot upstairs and I honestly can't afford to replace the furnace/cooling system. I wonder if cleaning the air ducts/vents will help improve the air circulation of heating and cooling? I asked the person who cleans my furnace every year and he said no.

I'm not positive it is actually a fruit, but i think it is...it is egg shaped and sized, orange and when cut open has a pod of red seeds inside...any ideas? The leaves on the tree that it is growing are shaped like a person's hand (i guess...if that makes any sense at all...) Thanks anyone...
