Not me personally, but my son used to flap his arms when he was in a temper as a child. I used to warn him that if he didn't stop, he'd take off...but he hasn't so far- at least I don't think so!!

I used to dream I could fly, skimming across tree tops. Wonderful sensation. Also that I could levitate. Anyone know what all that means in dream terms???

Yes, off the roof of a barn, Almost broke my arm ;) I had a huge imagination when I was a kid. Went on about my wings being invisible and if i flapped hard enough with my hands i could get them going... i compared them to the pulling of the string on the lawn mower. Go figure

I do it quite often when carrying the electric heater out to the pool in December or January. It makes a nice sizzle when I drop it in (with my feet, of course) and I don't stand a chance of electrocution ... but then I am an owl.

Yes and I stood on an upturned bucket for extra height and even jumped but nothing worked. I did not fly. But then I was fat when I was 4.

Yeah when I was about 4, nearly broke my neck.

Actually, I lie, I had paper 'wings' pinned to the back of my t-shirt, but bizarrely, they failed to operate as desired.
