my wife has a stain on her tee shirt from a bleeding knott out of a wooden garden bench and cannot get it out of the fabric any suggestions for removing the stain

Honestly, get some "Gum Terpentine" from a paint store or Home Depot, etc. Terpentine is the solvent that is distilled from pine sap and it will dissolve it in a jiffy. Then wash the terpentine out with ordinary detergent==>good as new!!

Believe it or not, you might find WD-40 a solution. Simply spray the stain and gently rub it with your fingers. You may need more than one application. You certainly will immediately know if WD-40 works... the stain will begin to fade as you rub it. Good luck... too bad it wasn't crayon, because I know WD-40 works for that!

stick it in the freezer and wait for it to harden then you should be able to pick it off good luck
