There are a few commercially made products that say they will remove rust. I've used Rust-out and it works well on most stains I've had. Another old fashioned trick is to cover the stain with table salt. Slowly drip fresh lemon juice over the salt and gently rub into a paste. Let this sit overnight and then rinse with water. Repeat until the stain is gone. Good luck.

there are special rust stain removers for clothing on the market but sometimes difficult to find. try a few drops of lemon juice(fresh) and hang the stain facing the bright sun for a couple of hours. it should be as good as new-

There is a product called Whinks, it will get the rust out of your clothes, sinks toilets, and just about everything.

Apply a paste of Barkeeper's Friend and water and let stand for a few hours. Rinse from the inside out and launder.

Works great.
