Hi,

I heard pigeon is actually a delicacy. Have your neighbor over for dinner and tell him to bring the meat.
Not kidding!

Since it's not your house---
There is a sound maker that repels pigeons in the city downtown areas. It is a soft high pitch. I don't know if it is an item at Home Depot.
Another 'safe' way is to have a water gun handy. Invite your children to spray the nest with water and it will deter the pigeons (of course). If the nest is fairly exposed- keep spraying the nest. It will fall down because of the water weight. Safe for the house too. Score points with the kids for moving the nest around!
If the nest is in the soffit and hard to visualize-- sorry, no ideas come to mind other than noise. Try turning on a radio and see if they stay away from the nest. Often, it's 50-50 as pigeons don't seem to mind people.

Birds have that nesting instinct, you would have to remove the eggs from the next set, including removing the nest. Sadly it would kill the eggs, unless you choose to wait a little while and manage to get them just before they hatch and relocate them, but the parents will not return to care for the babies. Contact a wildlife res or something equal to that in your area to help remove them.

It's as easy as 1,2,3...

1) Knock nests down.
2) Place mothballs under eaves.
3) Install metal screening to make sure they can't get back in.

Good luck!

had the same problem in my neighborhood with pigeons and morning doves, just get a realistic looking plastic or ceramic owl figurine and place it on your porch or roof, owls love pigeons and they know it .bye-bye-birdie.
