The air-pockets can be peeled and the paint along with the old paint underneath comes right off exposing the sheetrock. When I pull back the paint, it's so thick (1mm) that it feels like leather. Now I have to repaint. What should I do to ensure no more peeling occurs???

Service One told me last winter they were red tagging it because the heating elements were damaged. They did not, however, suggest I move immediately, like the local gas company would have, so that's why I'm wondering if there even IS a problem, so want to at least forwarn potential buyers.

What I want to know is ways to attract buyers. One way I heard was to bury a St. Christopher statue upside down in the yard. Run your own ad. I thought other successful sellers might have ideas. Like yellow flowers etc.

I own an Intex above ground pool and have the worst luck with it! I clean it daily and I am constantly testing the water, adjusting the chlorine and ph level, and run the filter as recommended. I also add drops to stop the growth of algae on a daily basis. No matter how much time I spend on this pool it always ends up nasty and algae filled. Does anyone else have a pool like this and what kind of problems have you had?

I have purchased a columbine plant that flowered beautifully and I deliberately let it go to seed. I want to grow new plants, both for my fire escape garden in New York City and for my mother's back yard in the suburbs. I have collected the seeds in an envelope. Now what? Thanks for your help.

It is highly questionable that this snake was more scared of me than I was of it. We both moved pretty fast. I live in the suburban Chicago area.

So many of the apples here seem not to have much flavor. Maybe it is where they come from or the type of apple. The one green apple tree that grows in my yard has pretty nice apples, but so many apples out there in the market place, just don't seem to cut it.

The enclosed porch sits on a concrete slab at ground level. When it rains water pools around the outside perimeter and seeps in because we have heavy clay soil that will not drain.

My family and I have almost no money to spend on hiring someone to fix it, so I need to know the best and cheapest technique. I would also like to only use what I have to, and if you can find a way that uses everyday items, that would be extremely helpful.

I have a VERY OLD piano. Looks terrible on the outside. I am wondering if it will be easier and cheaper to just put some coats of paint on it and a design myself, rather than spending more $$ than its worth getting it refinished. I don't see where it will change the tune/pitch/or sound.
