So the real answer is YES, weeping cherries do bear fruit, as floridaleoness has answered. They do have fruit but it is not considered good to eat to humans. However, birds do eat the fruits, and what goes in, always comes out (where birds are concerned) and usually on the car parked closest to the tree. Weeping cherries are also grafted trees and require maintenance pruning to maintain the weeping effect.

No, sweetheart. They are considered an ornamental specimen, just like the Bradford pear. Loved mostly for their breathtaking blooms in spring, and, in the case of the Bradford, their shade.
They do produce , after flowering, very small insignificant fruits.
