biological modified crops and crops grown with pesticides are emerging and grown in kenya .we need to educate the community on the dangers posed in consuming such grown fruits and vegetables,we need to emphasise the use of natural farming methods, but we dont know how this natural method is applied, hence the need for some form of training on practical application of organic methods of farming.

Just moved into this house less then a year ago, I have a small portch that is rotting away. The portch is only few square, feet enough for a door to open over and take one step out onto the portch before you get to the steps. I lifted up one of the wooden boards on the portch and saw that is rotted and I can look down into the courner of my basement.
What is the best way to fix this, what type of wood, what type of paint or is there a nice plastic type of good waterproof solution to this porblem? I live near a lowes, so anything I get would be from there. I basically have no idea what Im doing, thanks for any help!

my pool is rectangluar 18x36. The liner is damaged and part of the bucket and wall has fallen into the pool. It isn't as bad as it may sound. I just want to know what would be my best option. The pool is an old pool about 30 years or so . We would love to keep it if it doesn't cost too much to repair it.

My church's youth group painted a wall mural in their youth room, and then several clouds each year with their signatures. We're thinking of redecorating the room - and we'd like to keep the signatures and mural. Is this possible? It's just painted on white paint on cinder block.

Sometimes I'll see a roach, and spray on it, it dies. 15 minutes pass, and there's a line of ants feeding on the dead roach. They seem perfectly fine walking on spot where I sprayed the stuff that killed the roach.

We found our dream home and during home inspection we found that it has a radon level of 6.7 (acceptable limit is 4.0). My agent tells me that I can mitigate it .
We are concerned now about its resale value since prospective buyers might pass on ours if it has a mitigation system. Thanks in advance for your response.

Just wondering what the major issues are that we should be checking out on a house that we are thinking about purchasing. Home inspection list would be helpful! Thanks!

Recently a man came out to inspect our house for termites. Some evidence of same was discovered toward the rear of the dwelling: a single point. The house is only four years old, but it is located in the woods, which is a natural haven for these little critters. He said he couldn't spray the perimeter of the house for termites, because our well was too close to the dwelling. He cited state law, but gave no reference number to check out same. My questions are (1) What is the minimum distance. (2) under what code could I find this? The closest point to the well is 48 ft. away and that point is on a corner of the dwelling, so it is not like the entire house is close to the well. Also, the nearest water fixture within the house is probably 75 ft. from the well. The reason why I am asking, is that the alternative way to get around this DISTANCE problem, is thee times the cost, and I'd just as soon spray the house myself rather than get into that situation.

the 2 125 amp boxes are for a home and a cafe built into a double size row home 1 breaker box has about 140 amps of breakers in it and 5 or 6 slots open the other has about 170 amps worth of breakers in it and 8 or 9 slots open, would it be safe to add a 50,a20 and a 15 amp breaker split up between these 2 boxes, I know that all items will not be used at the same time but being a house and a cafe the stoves, fridges, and compressors will most likely be used at the same time. any help would be appreciated, THANK YOU.

I have a used Dixon ZTR zero turn that I no longer need, as we have moved to a property with a smaller yard. It's in good shape, runs like top, has a 12hp Briggs & Stratton, 30" deck and will cut an acre of grass faster than a 46" cut lawn tractor. I'm thinking of asking $600, as they are over $2000 new. ringeyedappy@yahoo.com
