Sometimes I'll see a roach, and spray on it, it dies. 15 minutes pass, and there's a line of ants feeding on the dead roach. They seem perfectly fine walking on spot where I sprayed the stuff that killed the roach.

Due to modern restrictions and safety precautions modern bug spray s are formulated to kill certain types iof insects while not harming others. Read the label on the container to understand what types of insects the contents are supposed to control.

Because you are using the wrong spray. Ace Hardware Brand ant and roach spray will kill both things--trust me. Dead, dead, dead.

It dissolves into the air. Spray those pesky ants with raid ant & roach spray.

Some bug sprays are designed not to be lethal, so they carry the poison back to their nest and kill everything later.

Also, not every poison kills everything.

cause the spray looses its potancey after its been on there for a while
