I just purchased some "organic" ant bait at my local nursery and it seems to be doing the trick. The lady there was telling me it's made out of crushed oyster shells which dries them out. It comes in a white powder. If you want the actual name of the one I have you can email me and I will go dig in the shed and find out.

BTW .. I have a three year old and 19 month old that are in to everything so I had to buy something that was safe for them ... I am VERY protective and concerned about chemicals being around my kids but I researched this and there is nothing that can harm them in it.

If you take Borax powder (the pure Borax detergent) and sprinkle it around the parimeter of your deck, or patio, they will stay outside the line of it and go elsewhere. It does , however bleach out the grass.

Try "Bounce sheets". Antistat for your dryer. Bees too if you carry a sheet on you.
