grits. the ants take it to their queen and when she dies (it swells in the belly) they're all gone!

If you see ants in your house, try wiping out their "trails" with white vinegar, then sprinkle boric acid powder (available as "Borax" in supermarkets) along the baseboards, at the edges of the countertops, under your cabinets and at any points where ants enter your house (like door sills.)
A few bay leaves (laurel) scattered in your cabinets help repel ants also.

My grandma always put sugar water in a big ole plastic bowl and put it in the center of her yard. That draws ants and other bugs. then she would take and pour gas on them. of course she lives in the country and this was 15 years ago so iono all you can do it try... good luck

boric acid mixed with powdered sugar.... put it here and there in the ants path...they will take it to the colony and it will kill the colony... there is a prepared mixture available at hardware stores, too...

Try boric acid and sugar. You don't need to spray it. Also kills roaches. Maybe somewhat harmful to kids or pets if inhaled or injested. Check it out if that applies to you.
