I have 2 125 amp breaker boxes i need to add a 50 amp a 20 amp and a 15 amp breaker would it be safe to split?

the 2 125 amp boxes are for a home and a cafe built into a double size row home 1 breaker box has about 140 amps of breakers in it and 5 or 6 slots open the other has about 170 amps worth of breakers in it and 8 or 9 slots open, would it be safe to add a 50,a20 and a 15 amp breaker split up between these 2 boxes, I know that all items will not be used at the same time but being a house and a cafe the stoves, fridges, and compressors will most likely be used at the same time. any help would be appreciated, THANK YOU.

Your only big problem is to separate the cafe box circuits from the residence circuit. (Which goes where)
Next what size service is metered to each box?

Residential, if you live there, you could squeeze in the 15 and 20 amp breaker circuits (total 140 plus 35 = 175 Amps) Check the NEC because your service sounds like 100 Amps to each box. You will probably need to increase the service unless the code official says you plans will work (and I doubt it) The cafe side being commercial is under different rules and again may require a different setup.

What state are you in? Most places only allow DIY work on your own home, so you couldn't do the work in a cafe. One panel for a home and the other for a cafe, the new circuits should be put in the panel for what it serves: home circuits in the home panel and cafe circuits in the cafe panel. You also are adding up the breakers, which is totally meaningless to see if you are going to exceed the 125 A rating (you are already over by your method).

Bottom line, not enough information to know if you can add your circuits or not. And you should get a licensed electrician to do the work. And by the way, a cafe is a type of occupancy that has special rules, so you can't just run your romex like a house.
