Have a handmade maple rocking chair with the middle webbed and springed (so you put a large cushion on top). I'd like to replace the webbing and respring it ... or would it be easier to just put a piece of wood in its place? Duct tape is not an answer for everything!

It's a cute little upholstered chair with a distinct sprung spring in the middle back; I'd like to repair the thing.

The cushions have gotten quite worn as I have 2 dogs that climb all over it. Wondering if I can patch the worn parts or re-upholster them all-together, as the rest of the couch is still in perfect condition... Any suggestions?

i am in the process of re-modeling my whole kitchen , but my fiance and i are in a bind as to whether stainless steel or corian would be best to use??

he wants to go with the stainless steele countertops, cabints and appliances!!

i wamt something more homey, like creamy silestone or corian, accented with stainless steele cabinets and appliances.

BUT we just want something modern and durable.

Can someone recommend a good (safe) way to heat a mini-greenhouse. It really is not large enough to accomodate a regular small space heater or sun lamp without risk of melting the cover. It's 66"x40"x19". I should probably also mention it is on a wood deck. Thank You!

Can a person become ill from trimming evergreen bushes? My husband came down with stomach cramps and a bad head ache after trimming some evergreens at work. This also happened last year. Is there something in the evergreens that caused it? If so, what can be done to prevent it???

They are DYSTROYING my flower bed in front. I do not want to use a scarecrow because that would look dumb in my front yard. What should I do to get rid of them, but not have to put up something big or ugly?

Fences on 3 sides but along back of property is cliff overlooking river. It has low picket fence with barb wire strung above it. Prowlers almost every nite, even when it rains!
