Go to a pool store and purchase a bottle of metal remover. You will need to keep some on hand to add when you top up the pool water level.

Define "IT" ???? The water??? Or the natural chemicals, minerals, and deposits that are present in well water.

Certainly as a POOL owner myself for more than 25 years I have to take some responsibility for keeping it clean, safe, biologically non toxic.

Visit a local pool store, decribe the pool size and take their advice.
