You would be able to get a dull reflection, but not a mirror as you think of one. If you have a specific piece of glass, that is very odd shaped or whatever that you just MUST have made into a mirror, take it to someone who does mirror silvering. There are some places in larger cities that do mirror re-silvering. Such as for an antique mirror. There is no way that I am aware of that you could do it yourself satisfactorily.

Not really - then you will have a piece of glass that's black on one side.

A mirror has a REFLECTIVE surface with glass on top. So maybe if you painted it silver, or something else metallic that reflects, you'd do better.

Black is only one coat. You also need a coat of mirrored silver paint on the glass, then paint the black OVER that. Black paint isn't reflective enough to work on its own.

If you wanna really make a mirror, its called "silvering". Its more a pain in the a$$ to do than anything else, but if you really wanna do it, you can make some very very unique things.

Try this site for more info on doing it at home:

Try also goingto your local arts and crafts store, or any Home Depot or Lowes. I know they all have kits for repairing mirrors.

There are spray paints you need to purchase at Menards, Lowes, abode Depot, etc, that permits you to reveal any floor into such issues as chalk forums, dry erase, yet I easily have not seen any sprays for reflect. verify in that section for a twig that's for making mirrors.

Not black. But there is a specialty paint to use, it is more of a silver. Then maybe you use a black topcoat.
