I have three different varieties. One has some unripe fruit, but the other two don't have any yet (as of 6/27). Should I just wait, or should I do some pruning or something to get some fruit. Am I just impatient? I'm in California so the plants are growing really big really fast.

Every other night, these kids are lighting off fireworks right by our window at 2 in the morning. I live in an apartment complex and I've called the cops and they said as long as they aren't firing them at our windows or at us, they can't do anything about it.

Is there anything else we can do?

Do carpeters normally do this? Or are you expected to move all your furniture somewhere for them?

I have an old barn that has accumulated a lot of horse manure over the last 40 years or so. There are different colors of manure as you dig further and further. first is fresh and partly composted manure, next is a little harder black with white spots manure, then there is a tan or goldish color layer below that. Could you possibly tell me what nutrients(if any) and what makes up these different layers? Also are they good anymore if they have dried out?

This plant bed is right next to ou home - it gets mostly shade, but definite morning sun. I'm hoping for mostly flower suggestions -- preferably aromatic ones too!

My spouse and I are building a new home. The standard hot water heater size is 50 gallons (gas). The builder gives the option to upgrade to a 75 gal for $450. I know that a HWH is a pretty permanent thing. The house is going to be about 2500 sq ft and for now it is just the two of us. (No kids yet). We both love long showers, and will probably have guests often. It is only a 4 br house, though, so we're not talking about hosting an army. Is it worth it to upgrade to the bigger hot water heater, and why or why not?

I seen an infomercial one morning about how to get rid of every insect and/or pest. THey had a number to call to get the book but I was to tired to remember it and I havent seen it again (cause it was on at 4am) Does anyone know what I am talking about and have any idea how I can get that book.
It was like a home remedy book for pests/insects?

We just moved to a house, and the downstairs reeks of cat pee. The carpet has been shampooed, and I sprayed Woolite Pet Odor Remover along all the walls, and wiped them down, but the smell is still here. What else can I do?

We personally just re-did our backyard patio and put in a large area of paver stones, so to level them out we dug out a HUGE pile of dirt. We now have a pile of dirt in our backyard and no way to get rid of it. What do we do?

We are building a new home in Arizona, about 2500 sq ft, and the builder is asking for about $3K to upgrade the exterior wall insulation to urethane. They claim that this insulates the home from sound, dust, and bugs (cold is not a real issue here). I am highly allergic to dust and almost everything that blooms, and my spouse really dislikes bugs, so we are considering doing the upgrade. Is it worth it, and why?
