I want to cover a long crack in already frosted/textured glass shower door.

Krylon or another brand?

I don't think it'll cover up the crack. For safety reasons, you should buy a new shower door. Another alternative is to check out freecycle in your area.

It may disguise it a little, but the paint will collect in the crack, so it will still be visible. Plus, the crack makes the shower not water-tight anymore, so there will be some serious mold buildup happening. I think the door just needs to be replaced.

Probably not...
For a quick fix, but no guarantees on how long it MAY help keep the glass from shattering out....@ alot of drugstores & varity shops carry a self-stick "frosted" window film...sometimes in the same area as the stick on shelfpaper.
I know/I Know...kinda tacky..:)

id replace it. the hot water will probably finish the crack then it might just fall out. be careful, cant imagine anything much worse then stepping in a tub full of glass
