Since going off the pill about 8 months ago, my cycle has been off. I didn't get a period for 5 months. I took tests, and the doctor said they all came out fine. But now my cycles are very long in between periods. Could I have PCOS, even though I'm not overweight?

Ok, she is 8 days late, but she has her toobs tied. She is 46. She has been having alot of headaches and she is really emotional. Shes sleepy all the time and her feet hurt. How early would she be throwing up? Thanks

confused...as h*%#! Last normal period Jan 18. 2007. My cycle is 35 days and is regular. No period in Feb. at all. When my period finally did come it came 2 weeks late and was weird. Started off pink and watery, the next day is was really dark with a few tiny clots. The next day it just stopped. During the whole 2 and a half days, it was very spotty..no flow like normal. Very mild cramping on the first day, and thats it. Now Im having period-like cramps almost 2 weeks later, which is strange because I barely get cramps with my normal period. Have been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms, but I know that preg. sym are not unique to pregnancy. Headaches, food aversions, mood swings, freq peeing, nausea at times...but i dont have sym everyday, they come and go. Some days I feel totally fine. Took hpt and it was negative. i had never been pregnant before and I havent been trying to get preg, but it would certainly be a blessing. I'm 23, recently got engaged to my bf of 5 yrs. Any ideas?

My periods have ALWAYS been 100% regular, since I first got my period at age 13 until now (age 20). This month I have been experiencing stomach cramps for about three days and I'm due on. Usually I would just get cramp a few hours before. What's going on? I've had a lot of unprotected sex and I'm worried I may have an STI so I'm getting checked later this week. What should I do for now though?

My mom refuses to get her hair dyed at the hairdresser today because she has her period. She insists that getting your hair dyed whilst on your period is not good and harmful for you ?! Is this proven a proven fact or something?

My period was supposed to come yesterday but it is a day late, which is probably due to stress and working out. I leave for NY on Thursday and do not want to have my period the whole time I am on vacation. I saw my doctor a couple weeks ago and she gave me a new prescription of Yasmin to start. Instead of waiting for my period which should be any day now, couldnt I just start the new pill pack now and prevent my period from coming until the placebo pills next month?

This is probably a weird question, but I've been really concerned about the state of my liver due to a recent emergency gallbladder removal surgery and since I was recently admitted to the hospital due to I was pregnant and going into labor, I was just wondering if the doctor's or nurses run any tests then that would have been able to pick up on any possible liver disease or problems. I mean becuase they did take blood samples from me & I'm assuming they were testing those samples to check for any health problems. Or am I wrong? What do they do with the blood samples they take during hospital stays due to labor?

Has any one heard of Mosaic Turner syndrome?
I have checked into the "medical information " side of this but any personal informtation/stories would be appreicated as I have just got my amnio results back and was informed that genetically the child, a girl, has mosaicism with one normal line and oen abnormal. And that this might be indicitive of Turner syndrom. My appointment with the genitic counslor isn't for more than a week... all other children are healthy and this is throwing me for a loop almost 17 weeks along in my pregnancy...
I would love to hear from people with personal experiance with this personally or with a child with this.

Im 12 weeks pregnant and had no symptoms with UTI. I have been taking the antibiotic for 4 days and still have 6 days to go. Im worried that If I take the monistat at the same time as taking the antibiotics it will not work.

My daughter has had an ectopic pregnancy diagnosed and is reluctant to lose a fallopian tube, so has asked for medical management by the use of a drug. My sister had this 18months ago and has not been right since. Has anyone any stories good or bad to tell. My daughter is keen to retain her fertility as she is only 25. This was an unplanned pregnancy-her IUD obviously failed, but she does intend to have more children in the future.

I get clear discharge - a lot at a time that it feels really uncomfortable cause of the wetness. Sometimes there will be thick curdy white discharge too. But there is no itch, no swelling or redness and no foul smell.

So whats wrong? Is this normal?

I do not take any kind of birth control, since I do not need it as my Boyfriend is well.. Fixed... for lack of a better term. We are going on vacation in the begining of May and I still know when I will have my cycle, as I have always kept in tune with my body. The problem is that I will start my cycle on the exact day that we leave for our trip in May .. What can I do to not have a period that month or at least just postpone it for a few days? Any input or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I stopped taking my birth control pills in October. Ever since then I've been having problems again with my period. Now instead of having it for 4 days, I have it for 7 days. It comes twice a month now, and instead of being light like it usually is, its heavier. I'm not sure why this is, so any help would be great!
