I eat three meals a day and I'm not concerned about being overweight either, I'm more concerned about being underweight.

I would consider eating heartier meals. There is a way of gaining weight, but doing so healthily. Try eating more meat (but lean, try 97% instead of 98%, or 93% instead of whatever) as well as keep the number of vegetables and fruits up. Vitamin C and calcium will help your bones stay strong. With these regiments, I would think you would begin to gain weight. But remember, when gaining weight, do so under a doctor's supervision. He/she may have suggestions on how to actually keep the weight on. Good luck!

You're lucky. You are blessed with a high metabolism. Enjoy it while you can, cause trust me, when you hit 30 or 40, it will change. I was a "bean pole" for all of my youth as well.

Don't worry about being underweight, but what you need to start doing is strength training so you can build muscle. This will round out your shape, strengthen your bones, make you sexy, keep you healthy, and keep your muscles from suffering atrophy.

If you really want to try and pack on the pounds you can go to a place like GNC and get a special shake mix that allows people like you to gain weight, but I would emphasize eating well and strength training. I understand how you feel, I went through the same thing when I was young. The media only focuses on those that want to lose weight not gain it.

solid quantities of protein with each meal (10-25g in accordance to meal) and carbohydrates to get you potential for determining. The protein may be modern in beans (kidney, garbonzo, etc) or meats like chicken, beef, etc or really a set of different issues in case you look into. Make that your priority and then once you've a large gamble upload into your foodstuff eco-friendly/darkish colored vegetables and some issues with solid MONOsaturated fat only to stay healthful. so a concepts as dropping weight and gaining muscles, enable me allow you to understand its no longer about weight. Its about body length and composition. Muscle weighs some thing like 4 cases as a lot as fat. What determining will do is get rid of the extra fat/flab and grant you with extra of the muscle. Your weight may advance yet your body length will cut back and also you may earnings muscle tone, potential, and potential at the same time as dropping the fat.

To gain weight, you should increase the number of calories in your daily diet by about 300 calories. These extra calories should be part of a balanced diet. More information at http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html

Maybe try taking a multi vitamin (even a flintstone), on a daily basis, your body could be lacking something and the vitamin could solve the problem, and help you gain some weight.
